Leopard. Is. My. Jam.
I have always loved mixing prints and patterns in fashion. Then 2003 hit and every one of my friends houses looked like leopards and zebras were hibernating in every corner of the house. The West Texas moms went WILD. Literally. Thankfully, that fad has been tamed (see what I did there?) into something exciting and fashion forward. Leopard will still always be a neutral for me, but I love mixing any kid of prints or giving a pop of a fun pattern in an outfit. I also can’t handle what my sisters and I like to lovingly refer to as a PTA (parent teacher association) outfit. You know, when you were in second grade and your mom wore the baby pink jacket with the baby pink capris with the white shirt with the baby pink design? Yeah, that PTA outfit. All for monochromatic looks done well, but PTA outfits…not my cup of tea.
My go to prints lately are camo, leopard, and these snake skin sneakers I have. Not to mention the sneakers were on sale at Dillard’s. Even more my jam. Mix the splurges with the saves and it will all look peachy! Also, make sure to follow on insta to catch my watchlist Wednesday’s where I’ll share what I’ve been eyeing lately. Most will include camo, leopard, and snake skin! Ha!
